Right toward the end of my day at the Bee Centre in Preston, two lovely children came over to me with their father and they started to talk to me about Betsie Valentine And The Honeybees. The father decided to buy his children the book and asked me to put a dedication in the book. He said he wanted it to relate to his religion so his children could understand the importance of the honey bee and I learned from him how much the Muslims honour the honeybee and their honey. They say it is healing for humankind. So we sat and chatted for a while whilst we pondered on what to write and I eventually googled Muslims and Honey!
