BETSIE VALENTINE ARRIVES IN LUDLOW!

Having gone to Yarpole, to stay with my sister for the weekend, we embarked on a visit to the beautiful market town of Ludlow and its castle with our grandchildren.  Of course, being a lovely day, families were out in force and I decided to test drive the book on a few of the many children I saw enjoying the weather and the surroundings.  I approached the parents and explained about the book and that it is finally released tomorrow, which is now today, and would they mind if I showed the book to their children.  What a lovely lot the 'Ludlowdians' are!  They were so friendly and said they didn't mind at all and allowed me to take pictures of their children looking through the book for this blog and twitter etc..  Two of the parents were Teachers and invited me back to Ludlow to give talks at their schools about the honeybees... Boom!  Below are a few of the pictures I took.  It really is a book that crosses the generations as is shown by the lovely Bob Cook - 81 years young - who, while his grandaughters were chatting to me, looked at the book and announced he wanted to buy a copy for himself... thank you Bob.  This is exactly what 'Betsie Valentine And The Honeybees' is all about!  It is for children and adults young at heart.  Enjoy the images.  I have to start signing and sending the books out.  I think people have waited long enough!
