This is a group where I have met quite a few members already because I live just down the road from them! Looking forward to meeting them properly and chatting to them about the honeybees. Mid September the queen has slowed down her laying and the drones have all but dissapeared from the hive. More than likely most beekeepers will have spun their honey and are probably collecting the cleaned up honey frames and wax from the bees and preparing them for winter storage. A busy busy time all around. One thing your guaranteed as a beekeeper is that the honeybees will keep you busy!
